TEDxBodija set to host Fortitude and Resilience, "discussion on developmental issues in Africa"

TEDxBodija, an independently organized TED event dedicated to fostering Pan-African ideas has announced its major TEDx event of the year, tagged "Fortitude and Resilience".
In a Press Release signed by the Team Lead, Abiola Durodola, said the event will be held on May 29th, 2021.
TEDxBodija is a full-day event being curated by young and enthusiastic individuals, with a large audience of youth from Bodija and Ibadan at large. The talks are filmed and hosted on the TEDx YouTube channel with over 25 million YouTube subscribers. Hosting its first experience in 2014, TEDxBodija is now heading into its 8th year of organization after over 5 years of break.
This event which will take place at the Wole Soyinka Theatre, University of Ibadan, Oyo State, will bring about discussions on developmental issues ranging from innovation, waste management, activism, journalism, photography, entertainment and security and the future of work in the ever-growing city.
It also seeks to bring think tanks, professionals and technology enthusiasts to share new ideas and stories that will shape the future of Oyo state.
In its previous edition, TEDxBodija has featured respected leaders like Chude Jidenowo, Remilekun Safaru (Reminisce), Neal Piper, Edmund Obilo and others on the big stage in Bodija, Ibadan.
This year, Well-known personalities like Asiri Comedy, a Comedian and Storyteller, Ademola Adigun, a Development Consultant and Team Lead, Oxford Policy Management, Nigeria, Gilbert Bani, a Nigerian Rapper, popularly known as AQ and Jumoke Olowookere, an EcoPreneur will be sharing their entrepreneurial journey at the event scheduled to hold this later this month.
Other prominent Personalities include; Hon. Seun Fakorede, Oyo State commissioner for Youths and Sport, Prince Tunde Odunlade, Founder, Tunde Odunlade Arts and Exhibition Centre, Ogunbowale Olugbenga, the CEO Epower Group, Joke Lasisi, the founder Planet 3R, Mariam Gbadebo, OAP, Splash FM and Oloruntoba Yusuf, OAP, Beat FM will also be joining the star-studded list of speakers at the event.
"The event will spark discussions across different fora in Oyo state and also kickstart a new wave of activities among the teeming population in the state at large on ways to improve the local community and transform it to a regional hub," the statement reads.
