“At times like these, we cannot afford to put the best off from coming here to roll up their sleeves due to long paper application forms and even longer waiting periods. As one of the world’s largest economies and a modern country of immigration, we need a visa process that is state of the art -modern, digital, and secure.”
A Three-Step Process for Seamless Applications
The Virtual Visa Application Portal is structured into three simple phases:
1. Online Application: Applicants complete an online form through the portal and upload required documents.
2. Preliminary Review: German consular officials review submitted documents, notify applicants of any discrepancies, and request corrections if necessary.
3. In-Person Appointment: Applicants schedule appointments at the nearest German consular mission to provide biometric data such as photographs, fingerprints, and additional personal details.
