WNP Mourns Exit of NTA's Ace Broadcaster, Aisha Bello Mustapha

Aisha Bello Mustapha, a seasoned veteran journalist who worked with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), left an indelible void in the field of journalism with her untimely departure. Her dedication to truth and relentless pursuit of stories made her a respected figure in the broadcast industry. 

The loss of Aisha is not just a personal one for her colleagues but a profound setback for journalism as a whole, as her insightful reporting and unwavering commitment to ethical journalism will be sorely missed.

Aisha was general manager,  NTA Parliament and was among the popular casters on NTA Network News at 9 PM in the ’90s and early 20’s,

She rose to become one of the forces to be reckoned with in NTA before she started presenting ‘News Extra’ on NTA.

It would be recalled that the ace broadcaster retired in May 2022 after thirty five years in service.

According to information, a funeral prayer would be held in her honour at the Central Mosque, in Abuja by 1pm, Monday, the 11th December 2023.

A statement regarding her death read: “Innalilahi wa inna Alaihin Rajiun. May Allah forgive our Mother Hajia Aishat Bello Mustapha. “Mama indeed you are a very kind-hearted person. We will miss you and hope you are enjoying Rahma. Funeral Prayer to be held in central mosque Abuja 1 pm on Monday 11th December 2023.”
