Gombe Government Vows to Safeguard Citizens, Boost Development

The Gombe State government has reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing security for the protection of its citizen's lives and property.

The Commissioner of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Abdullahi Bello, made this known when a delegation of Sarkin Hausawan Balanga paid him a congratulatory visit to his office in Gombe.

Abdullahi  stressed the importance of peace in promoting sustainable development and encouraged the community to collaborate with law enforcement by reporting any suspicious individuals or activities, all while following the law.

The commissioner expressed his gratitude for the visit and promised to represent them in the state Executive Council effectively.

He assured the delegation of his dedication to addressing the issues facing Balanga Local Government, including farmer-herders conflicts and the enhancement of the Balanga Dam for Dry season farming, thus creating employment opportunities for the youth and fostering local development.

Earlier, the Sarkin Hausawan Balanga, Alh. Dayyabu Bala Sani,explained that their visit was aimed at congratulating the newly appointed commissioner and highlighting challenges faced by Balanga local government.

In a similar development, Abdullahi  received a special delegation from Talase/Don/Rame Ward of Balanga Local Government Area, led by David Saul Taudo, to celebrate his appointment as Commissioner.

Abdullahi expressed his delight for the visitation and pledged his commitment to ensuring that the residents would reap the benefits of the state government's development projects, drawing from his personal connection to the area.
