Eco Diversified International, a leading environmental organization dedicated to fostering sustainable livelihoods and advancing climate change education, is excited to unveil its upcoming event titled "Empowering Youth for SDGs: Shaping Tomorrow, Today."
This transformative initiative is designed to harness the vibrant energy and innovative thinking of young individuals, propelling them closer to realizing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2050. The event will take place on August 18, 2023, at the prestigious Cultural Center in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The world is at a crucial juncture in the pursuit of a sustainable future. The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015, outlines 17 interconnected SDGs to address pressing global challenges. As we approach the midway point, it becomes imperative to engage the next generation in meaningful conversations about their role in achieving these goals.
The "Youth Involvement in Actualization of the SDGs" event is designed to be a dynamic platform where young individuals will come together to learn, discuss, and strategize how they can contribute to meeting the SDGs by 2050. Through inspiring talks, interactive sessions, and workshops, attendees will gain a deeper understanding of the targets set by the SDGs and how they can actively drive change in their communities.
