In a ceremony filled with excitement, One of the leading Social Clubs in Nigeria, Neem Gents Club, Abeokuta has witnessed a significant transition as outgoing and pioneer president, Gent Sobowale Jonathan, handed over the mantle of leadership to Gent Adewale Bankole, after a successful two-year tenure. The handover event was attended by members, guests and distinguished Gents, physically and virtually. The event marked the official transfer of responsibilities from Sobowale to Adewale, signifying a new chapter in the club’s history.
This was contained in a Press Release signed by the club’s Public Relations Officer, Gent Ayinla Olaide and was made available to Western Nigeria Publica.
The handover ceremony was a momentous occasion, with President Bankole commending his predecessor’s dedication and impact. “Our pioneer president has laid a strong foundation for this club. His leadership has shaped our journey, and we will continue to build on his legacy,” he stated.
In his inaugural speech as president, Bankole emphasized the importance of unity and upholding the club’s values. “Neem Gents is more than just a club—we are a family. Together, we will strengthen our bond and make a bigger impact in our community,” he said.
