On Monday, November 6, 2023, a Nigerian skitmaker, Chukwuebuka Emmanuel, popularly known as Brain Jotter gifted a physically challenged lady N400k.

During his interaction with the lady identified as Eniola, Brain Jotter gave the lady the money after encountering her hawking water on the streets of Lagos.

In a video the skit maker shared on his social media page, he wondered why a physically challenged lady could be hustling to make an honest living while some people who are not disabled spend their time online begging for money. He also discovered the lady was also a makeup artist.

In the video, as Brain Jotter and his team were en route to their destination, they came across Eniola selling water in the midst of a traffic jam.

Captioning the video, Brain Jotter wrote; “We met her on our way to set and her story was inspiring. God bless her @glam_by_eniola.’

Brain Jotter expressed that he was deeply touched and inspired to lend his assistance when he learned that, despite Eniola's  physical challenges, she had opted for honest work rather than resorting to begging for charity.

Having listened to her story, Brain Jotter transferred N400k on the spot. He discovered that she was a native of Osun State, who has learnt and perfected the trade of make-up artistry.

Eniola, having journeyed from Osun to the bustling streets of Lagos, found herself in a financial pinch, lacking the essential tools for her makeup trade.

Soon after the video went viral on social media, prominent Nigerians including the Osun state governor offered to help her, after his cousin, Davido had called his attention to it.

Governor Adeleke wrote on X: "Thanks for sharing the video. Eniola's dedication to making an honest living is inspiring. She embodies the qualities that represent Osun. I've directed my office to get in touch with her & explore possibilities to assist in advancing her education or improving her make-up skills."

However, an anonymous blogger, Gistlover On Wednesday, November 8, reported that the hawker whose real name is Sultan has been  cross-dressing to scam unsuspected victims.

The blog backed up their assertion with photos of Sultan donning male school uniforms and attire. The blogger also claimed Eniola has been offered financial assistance in the past.

According to Gistlover, a group of individuals came together to assist him in 2022 by renting him an apartment in Ketu, Lagos, and buying some materials to kick off his makeup business. However, Eniola returned to the streets and continued hawking.

While reacting to the claim, Brain Jotter lamented that the guy deceived them all.

He revealed that the boy was once helped in the past with 600,000 naira.

The skit maker wrote:“If i tell you say i no tire, i dey lie. Just Negodu’?’. Bro deceived us all. Some people has helped him with over 600k before. He lied!!! He is a MAN’!!!!”

Shortly after the report, Brain Jotter deleted Eniola's video from his Instagram page, expressing his disappointment in an InstaStory post.

Davido also called on the governor of Osun state to abort any plans to help Eniola.
