2023: Northern Youths urge 'Gburugburu' to run for President

Northern Youth Support for Gburugburu(NYSG) has thrown their weight behind Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi to declare his interest in the 2023 Presidential election in order to rescue Nigerians from the clutches of issues bedeviling the country.
Speaking on behalf of the group in Abuja on Friday, the National Coordinator, Hon. Amb. Suleiman K Ibrahim pointed out that it is the turn of the Southeast geopolitical region to produce the next president, reiterating the commitment to the politics of equity and fairness, of which they unanimously agreed that the presidency of Nigeria be rotated and resolved that 'Gburugburu' is the right person to lead the country. In his goodwill message, the National Coordinator, eulogised Gburugburu for his leadership roles and emphasised his qualities, enjoining Nigerians to join hands with the NYSG.
He said that their decision to support Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi is based on his pan Nigerian records over the years, saying that his election will advance the already threatened unity of the country. Also, his commitment and vast thinking in structuring development. "It is very worthy to call for a competent, reliable and transformative leader whose magnitude and potential is to build a legacy. It is on record that Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has earned for himself by seeing the dividends of democracy and good governance in Nigeria."
"His collective effort to combat for peace and unity is a trademark and symbol of his leadership. He is a political developer whose legitimacy is to improve all the malfunctioning scores. In the political history of Enugu State, no member of the House of Representatives and Governor has ever achieved the medals of good governance, infrastructural development, dividends of democracy and effective leadership. Gburugburu is a catalyst of financial growth and impact of glaring records. Thus, it has lifted the state to major segments which makes both the locals and internationals to partner with him for a well meaning legacy."
"These entails his attributes and antecedent as a great personality and philanthropy. A clear experiment with opportunity that clearly summarizes essential facts and appropriate content of precise development of all organized teaming interests particularly in the area of infrastructure and social development."
The National Coordinator, NYSG noted that Nigeria as a Nation needs a patriotic Nigerian that will govern with wisdom positively, anchor with spirit of respect to its citizens and penetrate all sectors with magnificent ideology or philosophy, according to him, it will promote the activities of the poor and firmly stance against sentiment, compromise and irrelevant curriculum.
He, however, stated that propaganda can no longer sell in Nigeria. "It is propaganda that led to the shattering hopes in Nigeria. We have to strategise to ensure that we make a difference from those in power now. If we put our acts together, Nigerians will embrace us, but if we mess up, Nigerians will look for a better alternative.”
"In line with the above, Northern youth found it worthy to embrace a very conductive personality and a philanthropist whose track record has not been biased neither having sentiment nor affect society with ethnicity.
"We, therefore, urge him to contest for presidential race 2023 and without a doubt, we stand firmly to support and mobilize for his candidature for accountable democracy and transparent government, '' Sulaiman stated.
"The future of the country in the hands of Gburugburu would be shaped by the diligence and honesty of those who document history and provide analysis of situations, knowing the value of what is obtainable in the past, and afterwards with Gburugburu."
He described Gburugburu as an exemplary leader worthy of emulation, adding that he is a man who always adds value to people's lives.
