"South West Security Network AMOTEKUN underrated," says Comrade Rasaq

Member, Prisons Rehabilitation and Law Abiding Organization International (PRALARG int’l), a non-governmental, non-religious and non-ethnic crime fighting organization, Comrade Rasaq Mohammed has said that Western Nigeria security network codenamed Operation AMOTEKUN, is a key player in keeping south safe for residents.
Comrade Rasaq who is a member of Investigation Committee of PRALARG, Ibadan zone stated in an interview with Western Nigeria Publica(WNP), there is need for the government to empower the security personnel(AMOTEKUN) more has it brings stability to the southwest region.
“AS few as the AMOTEKUN are, you can see them in every nook and cranny of the region and responding with swiftness in places they are needed, they are like first aid treatment to crime which they later hand over whoever is guilty to police for further investigation and judgement”.
He buttressed the challenges facing the security operatives , in his statement “ in a recent incidents that happened recently in Olomi Ibadan, an alarm was raised about a suspected ritualist, in no time the security operatives were on ground to attend to the situation.
He therefore urged the government to empower the Western Nigeria security network (AMOTEKUN )by recruiting more personnel and equipping them with ammunitions, he noted that by doing this, it will help curb the insecurity in the southwest region.
Rasaq commended AMOTEKUN for the great job they’ve been doing and urge them to keep the good work going.
