Dr. Ahmad Usman also noted the progress made in Gombe State, particularly in enrolling approximately 45 thousand individuals in the Formal Sector Health Insurance Program.

In reaffirming their dedication to quality healthcare, Mohammed Goje, NHIA desk officer at the Federal Teaching Hospital Gombe, stressed the hospital's commitment to delivering exceptional medical services to enrollees at affordable rates.
He also disclosed the ongoing construction of the NHIA Complex, a state-of-the-art facility equipped with advanced communication tools to boost operational efficiency.
Additionally, Goje applauded NHIA for organizing quarterly stakeholder forums, which he believes will prove instrumental in addressing various healthcare issues and succeeding in universal health coverage not only in Gombe State but across the entire nation.
