8 players selected as 'G Innovation' ends four-day scouting programme in Ibadan

Following the  annual football scouting programme organized by Nwagwu Chigozie, the Chief Executive Officer of G Innovation, eight starry-eyed players have been selected amongst the hundreds that participated at the just concluded tournament.

The scouting tournament that featured 10 teams from across the country, was witnessed by top football scouts in Netherlands, Russia and Germany on Wednesday 21st September, at the Ikolaba High School Football Pitch, Ibadan, Oyo state.

After a gruelling four-day of intense activities, anxieties and expectations, over 150 players were asked to showcase their talents in different sections as the scouts carefully watched. 

Western Nigeria Publica learnt that visa processing and other documents had started immediately.

Speaking after the event, the Chief Executive Officer of G Innovation Nwagwu Chigozie, described the event as one of the best organized grassroots football scouting tournaments in Nigeria in recent times. He applauded the professionalism and transparency of the scouts.

Founder of Demmyspoets FC, Demola Alabi Ayodele thanked the organizers for providing grassroots teams with the opportunity to participate in the scouting tournament and of course, provide the lads with the platform to be discovered and exposed to local and international football.
