As Nasru-Lahi-L-Fathi(NASFAT) join Muslims across the world to mark the 1442 AH Eid-el-Fitri celebration, the society's President, Alh. Niyi Yusuf has urged them not to forget the significance and lessons of the just- concluded month of Ramadan.

Yusuf said this in his Sallah message to congratulate the Muslim Ummah on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast and wish them a blessed and peaceful Eid-el-Fitri celebration.

"My message is to thank Allah for His gift of life and allowing us to participate in this year's Ramadan, and to complete the 30 days of Ramadan fast. I enjoin all Muslims to continue to imbibe the virtues of Ramadan, including self-denial, improving our sense of community brotherhood and providing support to the indigents."

As Muslims celebrate the Eid, he enjoined them to maintain all required Covid-19 protocols and comply with the guidelines issued by  health authorities.

"As we celebrate today, we must not forget the significance and lessons of Ramadan. Let’s continue to uphold the virtues of the Holy month. I implore Muslims to take advantage of today’s celebration to offer special prayers for the peace, progress, and development of our dear country."

He prayed to Allah to accept all  fasts, charity and prayer during the month of Ramadan, and herald peace into our nation and homes.
