NOA North-East Boss Pledges Stronger Ties with Gombe Govt for National Reorientation

The newly appointed and pioneer North-East Zonal Director of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Alhaji Ali Audu, has lauded Governor Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya for what he described as an unflinching commitment to grassroots development, peace, and inclusive governance in Gombe State.
Alhaji Ali Audu made the commendation during a courtesy visit to the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, in his office at the Government House, Gombe.
The NOA Zonal Director said his visit was not only to familiarize himself in his new capacity but also to solidify the agency’s existing ties with the Gombe State Government, an administration he commended for consistently aligning with the agency’s mandate of promoting national values and unity.
While noting the mutual cooperation enjoyed over the years, Alhaji Ali Audu assured of renewed synergy and pledged to leverage his new position to deepen collaboration in achieving the agency’s objectives, particularly in Gombe State.
Responding, the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, assured the Zonal Director of the government’s continued support to achieve their constitutional mandate.
He emphasized that under the leadership of Governor Inuwa Yahaya, the administration remains committed to partnering with agencies like the NOA to ensure the entrenchment of national values and grassroots engagement.
Earlier in her remarks, the State Director, National Orientation Agency Gombe, Mrs. Adeline Waye Patari, highlighted the operational challenges confronting the state office and appealed to the new Zonal Director to prioritize solutions.
She assured that the Gombe office will remain steadfast in supporting his leadership and pushing the agency’s mandate to greater heights.
As part of his working visit, the newly appointed and pioneer North-East Zonal Director also interfaced with staff at the Gombe State Directorate of the Agency.
During the engagement, Alhaji Ali Audu encouraged officers to rededicate themselves to duty and align with the Director-General’s drive to reposition the Agency for optimal national impact.
He explained that the creation of the North-East Zonal Office is designed to boost operational efficiency and ensure NOA activities reach the grassroots within targeted timelines.
He also tasked the state office to sustain campaigns on the National Values Charter, aimed at entrenching positive behavioral change among citizens.
