MTN Nigeria, has raised its data prices, sparking reactions from customers.
The company confirmed the price adjustments in a response shared on its X (formerly Twitter) account.
The decision was said to have been a result of telco companies facing rising operational costs, forcing adjustments across the industry.
Under the new pricing structure, MTN Nigeria’s 15GB weekly data plan has surged from N2,000 to N6,000, Tribune Online earlier reported.
New MTN Data Prices
15GB bundle – Previously N2,000, now N6,000
1.5TB plan – Previously N150,000, now N240,000
100GB bundle – Previously N20,000 for 100GB, now N25,000 for 90GB
600GB bundle – Previously N75,000, now N120,000 for 480GB
